Default pond cleaning

Frankie,

Depending on the size of the pond you can use a wet dry shop vac, or you can
use a pool vacuum as I do shown at
http://www.geocities.com/richtoybox/pondpage4.html, or if it is just leaves
and other coarse materials, you can run a fine net along the bottom of the
pond and scoop them out. If you are scooping out old decaying materials, be
careful to move very slowly, as the disturbance will release hydrogen
sulfide gas which is toxic to the fish. By going slowly, the concentration
can be kept low enough to not harm the fish. Potassium Permanganate will
neutralize the hydrogen sulfide and allow you to clean the pond faster.

Is it possible to clean the bottom without draining water?
All answers appreciated Frankie
