Default A Stake in a Pond

OOh Er!
I bought my neighbour a lobelia cardinalis for her garden pond - beautiful
plant with dark red-brown foliage and luminescent crimson flowers.
It grew very tall (4ft or so) and started to lean away from the prevailing
wind.

So she put in a stake to keep it upright.

Now I'm about to drain the pond down to patch the hole the stake made in

in
the liner........

Since it's very nearly that time of year, why not just throw a bunch of
leaves in? They block my guttering a treat.
