If you aren't fussy about buying new, check out the freeads for second-hand
machines.
I bought a second-hand Westwood 1200 for £300 and a tipper trailer to go
behind it for £50. The Westwood has a tight turning circle and has proved
very reliable. The trailer has been a godsend - it happily takes four
160litre bags of compost, horse muck, top-soil, breeze-blocks....oh the
back-ache it's saved!
The cutting head is underslung but removes in a minute or so by undoing two
clips and spinning off the drive belt.
