Lets be honest you don't know the reason the OP wants a ride on mower do
you?
Could it be that the person is less able bodied than yourself?
That being the case, cutting the Tennis Court sized lawn with a ride on
mower would be a good idea, No?

Having a ride on lawnmower and using it regularly, I know the problems
associated with handling it - and a tennis court isn't *that* big!!!
If I were not able bodied, I would not be able to manoeuvre it at all,
let alone mow the grass with it (

And I think advice to someone not to spend money unwisely is sound as
well !!!!
