Trees changing colour? They need frost to do that! For the past
few years, their leaves have rotted off before changing colour, due
to the wet ....
Not so. We've travelled to Leeds from Kent today and noticed (even at
the
side of the A14!) that very many trees were showing yellows, golds,
browns
and reds.
Agreed, it is the fact that the tree stops food supplies to the leaves
that causes the change, this can happen as a result of frost, but also
just due to the daylight hours.
