Okay,

I've got a concrete drive which gets marked badly at this time of year by
starlings who are eating berries and/or blackcurrants and leaving purple
marks everywhere.

I have tried scrubbing the concrete which brings up the original colour of
the concrete but the bird mess mark remains.

Any advice on what household cleaner or chemical would help remove these
stains ?

Try oxyclean. I think that's how you spell it. It'll be with the laundry
cleaners. I got mine in Sainsbury's. Mix with water and spray or pour on and
then try brushing whilst rinsing off with some clean water. I've used it on
some very bad stains and it's worked like magic. (I had a little accident with
a bag of frozen blackcurrants left to thaw on the stairs (carpet) overnight).
