I don't know about the leaves that appear to be "eaten" but the black
spotsare
a fungal disease, aptly named Black Spot. You ought to be able to find info
onthe Internet about it as far as treatment, etc.

It is caused by moisture on the leaves, and you can get a spray from Walmart or
where ever specifically made for it....If you do not like using chemicals in
the garden add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and a few drops of dish soap to a
quart of water and spray it on a couple of times a week Jerri
