Default Watering

If the plants are too wet all the time the roots might die.
if some of the roots are dead the plants cannot get enough water to
the leaves and the leaves will start curling too.
the plant can become a little yellow-ish.

I know leaf curling is a sign of under-watering, but what are the signs of
over-watering (outdoor plant)?
