Heck, I'm about as pro-environment as one can be, but destructive exotic
species should be eliminated if at all possible. The only exceptions -
species that fill a niche formerly occupied by an extinct native (as long
as said species does no harm to the ecosystem.)

Should this extend to Old World primates?

Although, the pre-existing New World primates ARE pretty near extinct...
