Default shady climbers?

just erected a pergola in an area of the garden that sees early morning
light but that's all...want to plant climbers but what would do well in

such
a spot that would also be good to look at?

Provided your not in a really cold place, Parthenocissus henryana is very
colourfull all season and especially good in shade. Lonicera periclymenum
and all its forms will also do well in semi shade.
