The message
from "David Hill" contains these
words:

"........Why not a flowering Crab apple, on a dwarf rootstock, will give you
flower and ornamental fruit.

Wot no crab apple jelly? ................."

Of course not, the jars would break as they fell of the tree.

Not if you picked them before they were ripe.
