Default Best conditions for seed

Thanks Janet, one lot are Calycanthus occidentalis from a tree in a
friend's garden. The ones from Chiltern seed last year did germinate but
both got eaten one night in the middle of a whole box of cuttings. Must
keep my eye on these this time!

The seed and flower heads are really attractive and the allspice
fragrance is wonderful on the shrub.
