Default Fireworks

Off topic, I know, but I'd be interested he know if others - apart from
myself - are being driven scatty by the relentless barrages of noise from
fireworks over the past weeks. I've no objection to people having fun but
lately - in this part of South London - the noise never seems to stop. And
occasionally it carries on to the small hours. People can be so

thoughtless!

Yes we too are fed up with it, Devali, Bonfire night and the nearest
Saturdays to them and before 10pm is OK in my book but every night (and some
days?) for a couple of months is crazy.
Why would you light fireworks after 10pm when you can't sound your car horn,
a safety device.
We had what sounded like a large display near here start at 11.30 the other
night and we were woken up at 2.30 one night last week when some nice local
lit a cake (large multi-chamber firework), and that's not the only time this
year.
Even our cats who originally didn't mind fireworks at all are now
frightened, and a relatives dog has to be sedated almost every night which
can't be good for him. Goodness knows how the wildlife cope.

I suspect these unthinking morons will ruin it for all of us as usual.
