Default large garden maintenance

I love wandering round York Gate - it's wonderful.
But . . . to live with, and look out onto, I prefer a more open aspect.
I would find a home in the middle of the York Gate garden very
claustrophobic ( Far prefer open vistas - like the sloping lawns that
front Parcevall Hall.
