One out of print book that has always inspired me has been
Saikei: Living Landscapes in Miniature by Toshio Kawamoto - 1967

I am very fortunate to now own a copy of his first book Bonsai-Saikei one of only 500 printed in english in 1963, which was given to me recently by a very kind friend.
