Cut newspaper into suitable strips, roll it around something of the
right diameter (say, a broom handle, vaccuum cleaner tube, rolling
pin or whatever), tuck the bottom on to bind it together, and that
is all. You want the width of the strips to be the height you want
plus a bit, and the length to go around at least 3 times.
