'Heather',
If you go to
www.google.com (Images) and search for: clematis flowers
you will probably find it as most of them appear to be there.
Regards,
Emrys Davies.

Morning all
In a VERY sheltered area right next to the house, I have a
summer-flowering
clematis still covered in buds.
Of course it's not labelled. : (
Large-flowered, the white buds have very definite green stripes up the
centre of the petals - most easily visible on the underside. As the
flower
opens, the green colour fades a bit and the flower is almost
completely
white on the upper surface of the petals. Then as it matures it
becomes a
very pale pink.
People who lived here before were not great plant lovers so I would
think
it's probably a "garden centre special", most likely sold as a
"climbing
plants pair" with the honeysuckle (labelled, naturally!) growing next
to it.
Any ideas?
Heather
