Default Emotions and Gardens.

mich31/12/03 3:58

I have refrained from making a posting such as this before because I am
sure someone will take the p*ss!
I am not superstitious and I am not prone to being led by my emotions
generally.

This is obviously bothering you a lot or you wouldn't have posted on it and
risked the mick taking. I've only felt what you describe in one garden and
luckily, it wasn't mine. I have felt it in buildings to the point where
I've had to leave them quickly and in a couple of houses I've lived in,
there were rooms I wouldn't sit in alone, especially after dark. In one
house I was staying in, in France, I saw a sort of manifestation and felt
the presence of great malevolence. I'm telling you all this, so that you
will know I'm not at all inclined to disbelieve you or rib you!
My advice to you is to get your local vicar to come to the garden and bless
it with holy water. (I did this in one house and it worked - didn't bother
in the other)
Explain the problem to him and if he is a man of any experience in the
church or any compassion, he won't be surprised and he won't scoff. If
Christianity is not your 'thing', then a similar representative of your
beliefs, pagan or otherwise, should be able to help you. You could also
contact the British Spiritualist Association (I think that's the right name)
who should be able to help you find someone in your area. Such a person
might be able to find out what is troubling your garden and know how to deal
with it.
I strongly suggest that you do NOT attempt to deal with this yourself. I
know people who were healers who did this kind of work from time to time and
who insist that it's very dangerous for an amateur to mess with.
It seems to me very important for you that you get this dealt with - if you
don't, you'll allow it to grow into a much bigger problem for your mind to
deal with and you'll find yourself avoiding that area, altogether.
And as a final suggestion, have you tried talking to your neighbours about
this - longer term residents, I mean?
