Default [IBC] Evergreen, Leaves and Needles...

However...a couple (or more) reference books tell me that the

Bristlecone Pine
holds onto needles from 20-30 years. Now, that's getting close

to "forever" in
needle/leaf life.

And then, the thought occurs that some of these Bristlecones

have been aged
dated at over 4,000 years.

Great! Thanks. I learn something almost daily from this list.

But the thought also occurs that for a tree that lives 4,000
years, 20-30 years probably isn't "forever." ;-)
