Try googling for 'ceps', one of the best boleti and probably resident in
the US, spores being distributed worldwide. They are available
commercially, both dried and pickled.

Cepes- Boletus edulis. Yes in the US. My wife and I collected 150 lbs of
them in the southwest a couple years ago. Superb flavor.
