Whoever owns it is unlikely to care about that. It's a bit like
rubbish TV. The target audience is ignorant and undemanding; viewer
numbers are all important, the quality of the content or its
presentation are not. Website audiences of urg are being sold short, but
they don't know any better, poor mugs.

From what you've said, at least the American website explains
urg/usenet in a limited way. Gardenbanter very slyly avoids even that,
presumably because the webmaster hopes its members believe this
discussion group is part of his website.
