Newbie questions....

I want something to make compost from kitchen waste in a small city
garden. What sort of composter do i want (and where can i get one -
london or online?)

There's not really anywhere to hide it so something that isnt too
horrid to look at would be good. Do they smell?

I must be doing something wrong cos my council composter is right next
to the patio and it does`nt whiff at all!! The allotment ones smells but
I could only describe that as the fresh smell of grass cuttings but they
are big 1m x 1m x 2m wooden structures. Both produce pretty good compost
at the end of the year.
