Bordeaux mix is copper sulphate solution.

How anybody can see this as a healthy ecological product is beyond me.

Prior to the clean air act
it was also present in higher concentations than now as sulphur
dioxide and sulphur trioxide and reduced the incidence of rose black
spot. I small price to pay for half the population suufering from
chronic brochitis!
