I understand that Armatillox has been banned?
Perhaps someone will correct me if I'm wrong
and let me know of an alternative please?

Armillatox is still around and is still legal but now it cannot be used as a
pesticide. Apparently it can now only be used legally as an outdoor
cleaner. The formulation remains the same as always, it's just that it is
very expensive for the company to jump through the EU hoops. The armillatox
website gives details http://www.armillatox.co.uk

An alternative for vine weevil control is Bio Provado, but that's only to be
used on pots, not in the open ground (something to do with its diluation).

Thank you for the advice.

I Logged on the Armatillox Website, and having read the background
to the problems the Company faced from 'Europe" ended up spitting
feathers. Yet another reason for staying out of the Federal, Non
Responsible, Irresponsible, Corrupt, Inane, Stupid... State.

Fortunately - as you will see when you read the Site-
'Armillatox Soap Based Outdoor Cleaner' does the same job:-)

John.
