Default Help - Orange/Lemon trees dying

The message
from "Martin Sykes" contains
these words:

They should be getting plenty of light now but the heating could well be a
problem. They're on a table in a south facing bay window so they're getting
about as much light as I can give them. If they're not too tender, I could
put them outside in the greenhouse which very rarely gets near freezing or
would that be too cold? I'm planning on putting them outside on the patio in
summer anyway.

I've got half a dozen or more citrus seedlings (from six inches upwards)
in a sort-of porch with a lot of glass in, and if I think it might
freeze I light a hurricane lamp in there to just keep the chill off.

They are still fine, despite the temperature hovering around 0°C for
quite a few nights, and losing one granadine vine seedling. I don't
think thet are *THAT* tender.

Spring is sproinging... Kiwis are beginning to show leaf growth.
