Scissor blades give the sharpest cut if kept sharp and in good
condition, but it is possible to mistreat them by attempting to cut too
thick a branch and twist them slightly out of true so they don't cut as
well. Anvil blades are more forgiving, but IME have a tendency to go not
quite all the way through and to leave a sliver of bark uncut.
