Default Cats was Squirrel repellent? (long)

Are you having a green christmas beetle invasion? Since our rain, we are
being invaded by them at night.

Not the beetles with our rain, but every other bug known to man and a couple
that haven't been cataloged yet...... I'm twenty miles out of Gatton, Qld. I
turn on the garage lights and leave the house open and dark with a couple of
mozzie coils to keep it live-able. Fire up the bar-b outside away from the
light to eat, and while I sit here next to pc, I have the vacuum cleaner
beside me to suck up the bugs every few minutes, so I can see the screen!
Maybe when Bill's rich and famous he'll be able to afford to screens to go
with windoze!

Never seen an echidna around here, but have a good selection of goannas and
other lizards. If you want to catch a goanna, then expect him to run up the
far side of the tree when you chase him, grab the tree in your left hand to
swing yourself around to grab him with your right hand as he goes up.... A
pair of those cow skin gloves are recommended for beginners, and I swear by
them for fencing so I save a bit of my bark!

The mutt was the pick of the litter and she is 873 dog years old. Took her
to the vet yesterday for her shot and to get something to help her bladder
control....
