the buds are looking green. would it kill it to put it back outside?
Friend:

This is natural and not a problem. Simply move the tree to outdoor storage,
or allow it to leaf out. If you allow it to push growth, simply move it
outdoors on days when the temperatures are near 50-degrees Fahrenheit. On cold
evenings, move it indoors.

I would not be concerned about damaging the first flush of foliage for 2004.
Tridents grow like weeds and can be defoliated several times during a growing
season.

Cordially,

Michael Persiano
