I've been watering the plant from the saucer every day and it seem to be better.

I water in the morning, and when I come home from work the plate is dried, so I
know that at least I'm not over watering. I might switch to watering every
second day and see what happens.

Place a saucer under the pot, and refill it as required
(check it daily). Pots in the sun dry out very quickly. When established in
the ground they can be very tough, but in a pot they can be very vulnerable.
Also try placing it in a more protected spot, especially from wind, and it
really only needs a few hours of direct sun.
