Alyssums are pretty tough and as long as you have

Just sprinkle over the ground and water lightly so as not to wash it away.
Last time I did that, the survival rate was really small. It didn't
help that a paid gardiner sprayed the few that spouted with herbicide
though (along with a few other plants), but not even sure why my mum
hired them when I can spray herbicide anyway.
