Before he took the
Masham brewery over, wasn't he responsible for inventing the original
'Theakstone's Old Peculiar'? Now that WAS a beer, and a half!
Theakstons have got their brewery back from Scottish and Newcastle.
Theakston's beer didn't fit in with their image :-)
