Default Growing blueberries in UK

I have 3 different varieties.one is a small shrub grows to about 24 inches
high and about 36 inches wide, the fruit is very sweet and tasty. This one
was bought from a mail order company. Both of the others came from a garden
centre and are much taller up to 5' at 3 years old, they have very little
flavour although the fruits as a little bigger, even the kids wont eat them.

as we see they have been declared as superfoods , so whats the position

on
growing ?

They will only grow in acid soil
I have tried growing them in pots of ericacous compost to no avail

We have two growing in large pots of Ericacous compost that are quite
happy. I stand them in large saucers to keep their feet wet as they like
it damp.
