Ginkgo fruit?
Gingko don't have fruit. They are gymnosperms.
The seeds have a fleshy covering called a sarcotesta.
They don't "supposedly" stink, they have a very foul odor. If you ever
smelled them, you would never forget the stench.

Female gingko trees have cone-like fruits that supposedly have a

available gingkos are cutting grown males.

Iowa City has female Ginko trees around the University campus. When the
fruit drop, it smells like drunk students puked all over the street.
