from Kay Easton contains these words:

After all that activity at the beginning of February, ardour was
dampened by all that cold weather, and we didn't get our first frogspawn
till yesterday

I saw my first lot of the year yesterday too..the frogs were still
laying it.


We have a fair bit now but I just hope the earlier lot wasn't frosted.
