Default terra cotta pots

Melissa,

If you use the higher fired smoother looking terra cotta pots you shouldn't
have a problem, but it if you get the terra cotta pots that have a rougher
exterior (most of the these come from Mexico or South America) besides not
holding up underwater and flaking rapidly they many times also have higher
quantities of heavy metals in them, such as lead.
