Climbing rose for cold north wall. ideas?
On Fri, 12 Mar 2004 15:54:04 GMT, whilst Caruthers was creaming the
maids muffin, (to her great delight) this cracking one arrived from
Janet Baraclough.. not wishing
to put Caruthers of his stroke I decided to deal with it:
You could take a look at one called Alistair Stella Gray. It has
sprays of exquisite double buttery yellow flowers and performs over a
very long period, very hardy and healthy. It is scented but not very
strongly. Mine is growing in a very windy situation, on a cliff
overlooking the sea, on a northfacing trellis erected at the end of a
wind-tunnel.
Janet.
Once again she is at it. Alistair Stella Gray too vigorous by far.
Janet is full of chicken "diddley squat".
