Default Reel mower

You might want to visit a golf course groundskeeper. They use gang reel
mowers and may have some info.

om...
I bought a 5 gang reel mower (Selfridge AFB surplus)... Roseman Mower
Corp. brand. My question(s) are as follows:
1. Does anyone have any info on these mowers.
2. There is no framework with the mowers. I don't want to cobble
something up, but could easily make a frame to tie it all together.
However, I would like to use the original plan... Problem is... I
don't have it.
3. Where can I get a service and operators manual that would give the
specs for the mowers?
4. Is this a good reel mower? Or, should I move it down the road??

The mowers look like they have lots of mowing life left in them. I
have to believe they're pretty old (square nuts on some bolts). On
the mower(s) it says the following: Roseman Mower Corp. Glenview,
IL., model# HT, serial#'s 43839 thru 43843 (sequential), on the right
framework (looking at it from the rear it also has the following
numbers 12096 and R42.

The reels are about 30" wide (4 blades per reel), and each gang weighs
about 150lbs. Big and heavy!!

Any input is welcome!!!
Thanks!
Mike
