Default Can you identify these plants?

I bought several houseplants recently that didn't come with identifier cards
and I'm wondering if anyone can help me to figure out what they a

-- Plant 1 has a series of long stems, each about the thickness of a
pencil, growing from what appears to be a bulb of some sort. The roots look
like fat beige earthworms and are also the thickness of a pencil. Each stem
is capped with one elongated spear-shaped leaf. The tallest stem is
currently about 2 feet high with a leaf that's about 8 inches long.

-- Plant 2 is a bushy plant with several main stems, each of which has
mulitple leaves that are sort of football-shaped. The leaf color varies
from green to yellow and nearly all have red veins that run down the leaf
and branch out along the sides of the leaf. I've seen this plant before,
but I can't remember what it is. Currently tis' about a foot high.

-- Plant 3 looks somewhat like a corn plant. It has variegated leaves with
three stripes running down each leaf in light green, darker green and green
horizontal stripes. There is a white line in between each of the green
stripes. The longest leaf right now is about 15-18 inches tall.

Any assistance would be most appreciated!
