Citrus fruit growth elimination / suppression / retardation.

In a backyard: 2 citrus trees, 1 Tangelo and 1 Lemon
~ 20 years old, each 30+ ft tall, no fertilizer applied ever,

Gasoline and a match! "Roof rats"! Cover the trees with netting (or raise
spiders in them)!
