Actually, in my area anyway, what is sold as lime for the garden is
powdered
marble, that's been made into small pellets, and is labeled "dolomite
Limestone"

If it's labelled "dolomite limestone", then it's clearly not lime. ; ) Are
the clerks calling it lime, or does the bag say "lime"?
