Default DIY POND LIGHTING

I have both "ends" up out of the water even tho the far end is sealed. and it is
plugged into a GFI receptacle. I noticed a lot of the lights have burned out in it
so it is going to be yanked and replaced this year. this one is not one of those
cheap Xmas lights, it is the higher priced ones from Menards. Ingrid

Any advice about how to put in the rope light? Especially to ensure it
is safe for the pond residents?

it on during day here bottom right picture. it is attached up underneath the veggie
filter. it can be left in the bottom of the pond tho.
