We had had at least 3.5 inches in the last 3 days...I say at least as the
top had blown off the rain guage. Luckly the wind is drying the ground

quite
fast, but torrential squalls are damping things down again..
And to think I thought it was all over this morning.......


Went down the allotment briefly yesterday, and nothing I could actually call
damage, but plant pots etc all over the place. The purple sprouting is now
horizontal though. And there was a cat collar on one of the row marker
lines. Seems the poor thing had tried to garrotte itself.

Incidentally, my spellchecker just tried to make "Pinus" into "Pinups"
