Default Need HELP with John Deere wiring

I have a John Deere STX-38 lawn tractor that won't start. Normally,
when that happens, I can pick up the front of the mower and let it
drop to the ground and, viola!, the engine will start. Obviously,
there is a safety switch that wasn't aligned properly and, by dropping
the mower, things lined up.

NOW I can't get the engine to start regardless of what I do. When I
turn the key to "run" (not "start"), I hear a click indicating that
"something" is engaging. It is NOT the starter trying to engage with
a dead battery.

I need a wiring diagram for the electrical system OR some suggestions
of probable failure locations in the "safety switches" in the starter
circuit. The wiring is not hard to trace if you know where it is
supposed to go.

TIA

Chuck if you hear a click when

you turn the key to start it you probley have a bad connection at the
battery or the battery cables or a bad start soliniod. if you can jump the
soliniod between the two biggest post and the starter works it is bad
