the author, but
from the Publisher. This can be a challenge at times depending

AND from the author unless he was unusually stupid and sold his
rights to the publisher.


I'm not talking about seeking permission but forcing these into the
public domain using the 'Fair Use' aspects of the Copyright law.

If someone wants to send me a scan of an article that is still
relevant but unavailable, I'll put it on my homepage and see what
happens
