Well, yes, but they aren't the right ones!

At that size, the time spent turning round will be comparable with
the time spent running along the row - so it's more like 6%. Add
in the overheads, and call it 5%.

Won't make that much difference - each row, roughly, consists of 1 row
and one turn, saving 2 rows also saves 2 turns. So original answer still
stands.
