If they cost more than 3 bucks each I think it might be a waste of
money. I have made my own before using 2.5 gallon (well washed)
herbicide jugs. 5 gallon buckets would work too. Even cheaper is
making a small earthen crater like dam around the plant, filling it with
water and miracle gro and let it soak in. If you have say 6 plants by
the time you fill all once then the first one ought to be ready for a
second filling. I only do this once per week unless it is really dry
then maybe twice per week.
