Default NEED FIREWOOD for fireplace, meat smoker - will cut/haul

Hey Ron!

I am in the process of removing a dead tree from my yard. I cant
afford to pay someone so I've been slowly taking it down. You are
more than welcome to come take a whack out of it, and take as much as
you like. Unfortunately - I have no idea what type of tree it is -
but it's definitely dead! As I take it down, people steal the wood
from my front yard, so they must be using it for firewood - it makes
for easy disposal for me. If your interested, email me at
. I will give you my address and you can
chop as much or as little that you want. That will help me and you!
Let me know! Thanks!

I need some wood, for burning in the fireplace next winter, and for my
meat smoker. Oak, mesquite, or pecan would be fine, I'm not picky. I
have my own chain saw, truck, etc. and can cut and haul it off myself.
It'd be nice if it's been dead for a year or two, but if it's still
green, that's OK, it'll be dried enough to burn next fall.

Buying wood commercially (for either the fireplace or for cooking) is
insanely expensive, so I'm hoping somebody out there will have a tree
or two they'd like cut up and hauled off, expecially mesquite, which
many landowners see as an annoying pest. Please get in touch.

I just took down a china berry tree. I kept the larger logs, but there
is a huge brush pile with some decent sized wood that still needs to be
hauled off, and I have more large limb pruning that needs to be done on
hackberry, elm, cedar and maybe some mesquite.

I'll keep it on the shelf. I'm not really set up for hauling off "huge
brush piles." Not sure what'll happen this weekend: we're back to a
40%-50% chance of rain (again!!!) Saturday and Sunday, for one thing,
and I'm not too keen on climbing up in a ladder with a chain saw in
the rain... (-;
