Please refresh my memory. Is this the rise, fall and saturation of a

I think a Moebius loop is the thing where you get a long thin strip of
paper
and glue the ends together, but put a 180deg twist in it first. This
creates
a loop with only one edge.

That is exactly what a Moebius loop is. We ladies use the same pattern

a kind of hood/scarf

Not at all. We have several men in the yarn group to which I belong, but I
havn't seen a man make a Moebius yet They knit and crochet.
