If they're very small you'd be better off hardening them up a bit first.
Put them out during the day and then somewhere frost-free but unheated
overnight. We're further south than you but near Dartmoor and for young,
possibly a bit tender-to-start-with, plants we recommend that people don't
put them out into a flower bed until danger of frost is over. You should be
able to find out where that is round your way by ringing your local radio or
weather station - or just asking a gardening neighbour.
