Default Advice wanted Lawn scarifier

'Linda',

I would not get a manual one as it most probably will not do the job
effectively.

I have always hired an electic one for the day and if you select the
correct day (no rain) you could share it with a friend|s as you only
need it for a couple of hours, if that.

Regards,

Hi Linda,

B&Q have a manual scarifier for £19.98 - you can't really go wrong at

this
price.

If you have a large lawn you might be better off hiring an electic
scarifier. You will probably only have to scarify your lawn once or

twice a
year, so it's probably not worth spending a lot of money on buying a
machine. Ask friends and neighbours if they have one that you can

borrow,
or ask them how often they use theirs.

If you do want to buy, go to a specialist garden machine supplier

rather
than a DIY shed, you'll get much better advice about which machine is
suitable for your garden and your physical ability.
